>play
The >play Digital Media Conference is kind of a big deal. Each Fall we host a one-day conference full of keynotes, panels, expos, career fairs, and all sort of geekiness related to future of digital media in business and society.
But don’t take our word for it. Check out some of these facts:
- >play is big. We bring together 500 business professionals, industry leaders and graduate students to discuss the most important trends in digital media and cast predictions for the future.
- >play is well-known. Now in its sixth year, the conference has become recognized at the university as one of its flagship conferences; one of the only days in the year the campus is entirely shut down for a student event. The evidence of >play’s success is in the quality of keynotes and panelists that have participated in >play, the increasing level of interest from the press, and the regularity of attendance by our >players.
- >play is run entirely by us. Unlike other for-profit conferences and organizations, >play is 100% student organized and run … but you might not know it. >play not only creates a professional yet >playful environment, it is run by a devoted team of nearly 100 student volunteers who are infatuated with digital media. The result: high energy, new ideas, close involvement with our sponsors and attendees, and a fun, unforgettable experience.
